CJA Survives The Great Blizzard of 2011!

Anyone who lives or lived in Chicago during the wintery months knows that snow is going to happen, but few expect to see what we got on February 2nd 2011!
The highest snowfall on record in Chicago was in January 1967, with 23 inches, followed by January 1999 with 21.6 inches. The 2011 blizzard’s total was 20.2 inches at O’Hare Airport, according to the National Weather Service.
Although C.J. Anderson & Company was shut down during the blizzard, we were reopened the next day and ready for business.
Here are just a few photos of what we had to deal with in and around the chicagoland area. With a lot of hard work from Tom Sybert, the building walkways, dock entrances and parking lot were cleared and ready to go.
I can’t speak for anyone else, but I never want to see this much snow ever again! We hope you enjoy the pictures of The Great Blizzard of 2011!
